Terms of use

last updated 5 September 2026

These are the terms for using ISO, the solo basketball training app made by Toby Howell (ABN 83 477 289 166) in Australia. By using the app you agree to them. They are short on purpose.

1. What ISO is

ISO is a training app: a library of drills and workouts, a timer with voice cues and demos, and a log of your sessions. It is free, and it is for your own personal, non-commercial training.

2. Your account

You can use most of the app without one. To save your history and sync it between devices, you sign in with Apple or Google. Keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for anything done under your account. One account per person.

3. Train safely

This is the important one.

4. Content

The drills, workouts, videos, voice recordings, text and design in ISO belong to Toby Howell. You can use them inside the app for your own training. Don't copy, record, redistribute or sell them.

The workouts and drills you create are yours. You give us permission to store and sync them so the app works, and nothing more.

5. Fair use

Don't:

6. Availability

ISO is built to work offline, so training keeps working without a connection. Sign-in, sync and crash reporting depend on services we don't run (Apple, Google, Supabase, Sentry) and can be interrupted. Features may change over time. We will try not to break things you rely on, but we can't promise the app will always be available or free of errors.

7. Ending things

You can delete your account any time from the settings gear in Profile. The privacy policy explains what happens next. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or abuses the service. If ISO ever shuts down, we will give reasonable notice where we can.

8. Liability

The Australian Consumer Law gives you guarantees that can't be excluded, and nothing here tries to. Beyond those, ISO is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your training or from using the app, and our total liability to you is limited to supplying the service again.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any dispute goes to the courts there.

10. Changes and contact

If these terms change, the date at the top changes and the new version replaces this one here. Questions go to support@isohoops.app.
